California Vacation

This past spring break me and my family were blessed to go on a vacation to California. It was a new and exciting place for all of us. We flew there and landed in San Francisco. We rented a car so we could begin our adventure. For the first 3 nights we stayed in San Francisco. We were able to tour the city on a double decker bus. I had the oppurtunity to take a tour of my dream college, The Academy of Art. My heart is definitley set to go there. I loved the whole essence of the big city. On the outskirts of San Fran there is a place called Muir Woods. It was like a mini redwood forest. As we hiked the trail around the woods I was speechless because of the beautiful wonders I saw. After we left San Francisco we headed to Napa Valley. I saw many vineyards, there was even mini vineyards in peoples yards. While there we visited a winery called, Raymond.  We stayed there for a total of 1 night.  After a 6 hour drive we arrived in the mountains at Lake Tahoe. There was much skiing (the boys) and shopping (the girls) done during the 2 days that we were there. The remainder of our trip was spent in Carmel-By-The-Sea and Monterey. Such elderly/dog welcoming towns. We went to the Aquarium in Monterey as well. Here are a few pictures of our trip:
